Hello! My name is Daniel Tomlinson! I am a Springfield, Illinois based branding, lifestyle, and events photographer. I have loved the craft of photography since I was 16, and in my career I have had the chance to work with some truly wonderful people and hone my craft. Film photography was my first venture into photography and I have tried to always show those beautiful, rich colors that feel true to life ever since.
I love capturing people’s personalities through my work. My goal is to create timeless images that tell stories about who the subjects are.

Who am I?
Well, jeez! That sounds introspective, doesn’t it? My name is Daniel (obviously), and around age 16 I picked up a camera for the first time. My dad was a photographer, and growing up there was always a camera in the house. It felt like a natural progression as I got older and a medium of art I was already intrigued by. From the first camera I ever used, the Pentax K1000, to my first DSLR, and beyond I have been passionate about the art and technique behind photography. These days I work primarily as a wedding/event photographer, but shooting film has also become a love of mine.
